Read Quick Reading Program
is a departure from the standard reading programs of
the phonetic
"sound-out-the-syllables" methods historically
taught.
-
This
3-Step System is a new reading
strategy that replaces the confusing rules and
sounds of inconsistent syllables that make up the
English language.
Solving Reading Problems - Read Quick system is unlike any other
reading program in American education and
will successfully teach nearly every type of
student to read and correctly pronounce
words.
Read Quick is a reading program
for kids, teenagers, adults, ESL and
special needs students as
demonstrated by their reading
achievement in schools, clinics and
home teaching. |
-
Once a word is marked using the
3-Step
System, readers will have an accurate
"letter to sound guide" to correctly blend and
pronounce the word.
-
Read Quick - The only method ever
needed to pronounce words while reading. There are no levels.
- Students are taught to look at words and letter
clusters differently when learning to read.
- They are
taught to identify forty seven letter clusters of 2-5
letters, called Combinations, and their sounds; 5
rules to control C, G, & Y; and 3 rules to control
vowel sounds.
- All lessons for Read Quick 3-Step System are on a
single reading software interactive CD. The system must be seen
to believe.

3 Steps are orally reviewed in 7-15 minutes.

Following are 2 examples
of how words are marked.

3 Simple Steps + 8 Rules =
SUCCESS
|
- English reading has a new,
exciting, simple method for analyzing and
unlocking words,
providing the needed reading skills for success
by nearly everyone, including ESL, ELL, and
Asian speaking people.
- No other reading program
provides such accuracy in decoding (unlocking)
multi-syllable words so easily.
- This 3-Step System has
proven highly successful as a reading program
for kids as well as all ages5 to adult,
including those with dyslexia and other
disabilities.
- Identifying Combinations in
words and sounding them out, then blending the
sounds and reading the word, has been
accomplished in a kindergarten class for 4-5
year old students.
- English reading is greatly
simplified and accessible for all struggling
readers regardless of their native language, age
or ability level with the Read Quick break
through in decoding. This is the major
reason for successes with ESL, ELL, and Asian learners
to improve
their reading and speech.
- Older students and adults have demonstrated a very
rapid learning curve using the specific, consistent
strategies of Read Quick.
This is possible because internal letters sounds
are consistent in their spelling and speech.
-
This easy to learn
3-Step System allows
student to decode (unlock/pronounce) nearly
every word in the English language.
-
There are no artificial levels for reading content
and word length. This is the reading key for
learning how to read that provides the difference
between reading success and failure.
-
The ultimate goal for reading is to develop
comprehension skills for every learner to achieve
their expectations on their journey through
schooling and life, wherever the pathway takes them.
-
It all starts with being able to correctly pronounce
words while reading, so the sentence, paragraph and
text make sense.
-
When readers miscall words, their whole mental
concept of the reading content is skewed, resulting
in an incomplete understanding of the text which
ultimately results in a flawed gestalt of the
message.
-
Every level of language processing
depends on seeing, hearing and reading the message
accurately, the main reason for our purpose in
learning. This is the significance of Read Quick and
why it is so important for so many learners.

"A LIGHT
CLICKED ON"
-
Dr. Frederic J. Van Dis, MD FACC
"This
letter is a testimonial
regarding your reading program
for elementary students.
I have
personal experience in that my
grandson, who had a great deal
of difficulty in school being
able to pay attention and
lagging behind his peers in
terms of both reading and math
skills, noted a significant
improvement after a relatively
brief period of time after being
initiated to your teaching
program. His teachers told
his mom that "a light clicked
on" and that he is reading at
above grade level and performing
math above grade level.
She has noted a marked
improvement in his attitude and
in his ability to concentrate
and focus.
Please
contact me if you wish further
particulars."

The 3-Step System
is taught using the Gestalt Method, easy
to teach and learn.
Gestalt teaching
means: Explaining the whole
concept of a topic or skill before
providing the necessary, individual
pieces of information for learning
through direct lessons or reading.
Gestalt (right brain), kinesthetic,
dyslexic, and ESL students must learn by
this sequence of how materials are
presented, regardless of the lesson
content. Read Quick teaches all
lessons in this sequence for maximum
learning and retention. This is a
universal teaching sequence for nearly
every student:
|
SEE & HEAR
- SEE & SAY - SEE & DO
|
VISUAL TRACKING problems affect 80-90%
of special education students and most
struggling readers. This results in
many reading problems. Symptoms to look
for are eye fatigue, headaches, and
inability to remember text just read.
Dominance testing is critical to
successfully teach or remediate students
with different dominance profiles
between the brain, eyes, and hearing. A
student with dominance of the eyes,
brain and hearing all on the right side
is a kinesthetic learner and must have
some bodily movement to understand and
anchor any learning during lessons.
Help children to read when they are
ready --- based on vision for letters
and knowing the alphabet.
